England Haul!

Last night I arrived back in Germany (unwillingly I might add!), it was hard to leave London and the English-speaking world, but I left all the same.  It's actually a good thing I left, as I went completely mad in the shops!  If you want anything, you can find it in London, and I did find everything and more.  So, I thought I would do a little (yeah, right) haul, just to show you what I picked up :)

Ok, I'm just going to jump right in.  I went to John Lewis on Oxford Street and bee-lined straight for the Home Fragrance Section to find these candles (as they were on my Fall/Autumn Makeup/Skincare Wishlist).  They smell amazing! I was only going to get one, but I really couldn't decide which one I wanted!  I'm intending on giving one to my Grandma for Christmas, but I haven't decided which one to give her yet, I might just use them and buy her one when I go back to London in December :P (These are all the travel-size versions, by the way, £15 each)

Sumptuous
The most deliciously decadent scent in the NEOM library, this combination of heady, precious wild Rose with Neroli (Orange Blossom) combines two of the most expensive oils to create the most opulent feel-good scent in the world (what it says on the back of the box)
I'm burning this right now and it smells amazing, it's filling up my bedroom with a really beautiful scent that somehow reminds me of England :)

Real Luxury
Known as the 'cashmere blanket' of our scent library, Real Luxury is a sophisticated but light and calming scent.  The most precious Jasmine is combined with a little French Lavender and the soothing, spicy tones of Brazilian Rosewood.
I haven't burned this yet, but it smells fantastic!

Complete Bliss
Utterly gorgeous and perfectly pampering, we have modernised a traditional take on Rose by adding a little Black Pepper and Lime so it really feels very fresh as welll as traditionally beautiful.
This was the first one I decided to get, it smells like pure rose, which is, without a doubt, my favorite scent in the world.

What's a trip to London without a stop at the Burberry counter?  I stopped at Harrods and found myself at the Burberry Beauty counter and I couldn't resist a few items.  I initially just wanted to buy Burberry's Lip Cover in Sepia Pink, but they are completely out of stock in London (but I was told that the Lip Cover in Antique Rose is very similar, just lighter, if you were wondering)! I even went to John Lewis to see if they had it, but the man at the counter said they're not even sure if it's coming back since it's limited edition (i.e. I might be placing an order on burberry.de very soon).

Burberry Sheer Foundation Trench No. 01 - £35
I have been wanting to try this for ages, I've had samples before, but I've always been nervous about ordering foundation online, so this was the first thing I did when I went to Harrods. It took three tries to find out my shade, but this really is the perfect shade for me.  The woman at the counter told me that this foundation is 'intelligent', that it changes slightly to match your skin, so hopefully that means this will work year-round!

Burberry Sheer Concealer Light Beige No. 01 - £26
This is basically Burberry's version of the YSL Touche Eclat (which I was meaning to pick up).  It's really light-weight, but still has nice coverage, as well.  I used it today over my Bobbi Brown Corrector and it gave good coverage and matched my skin tone.  So, so far, so good (but I'll still need to test it out further)!

Burberry Sheer Powder Porcelain No. 01 - £31
I was basically talked into this, but it was £1 cheaper than the Chanel Poudre Universelle, so I went for it!

Burberry Sheer Eye Shadow No. 18 Midnight Black - £22.50
I didn't have a black eye shadow on its own, I only had in my Sleek Storm Palette and my UD Naked 2 Palette, so I thought it was time for me to pick one up on its own so that I could bring it with me on weekend trips and such!

Burberry Lip Cover No. 14 Prune - £22.50
I was absolutely gutted (look at me being all British) when I found out about Sepia Pink being out of stock, so I went and swatched a bunch of their other lipsticks, and I ended up really liking this one.  It's quite dark, which is perfect for winter, but it can also be used as a stain, if you don't want to go all out!

MAC Lipstick in Twig - £14
This has been on my wishlist for a while, it was even in my Fall/Autumn Makeup/Skincare Wishlist!  I was in York on Monday and had had a completely awful day (this was the day when parts of England received a month's worth of rain in one day).  I went to Betty's (a tea room) and bought some cakes to bring back to Germany with me, and then I went to Zara and bought a winter coat (as I didn't bring one with me to Europe).  Then the worst happened, the rain caused both paper bags to completely rip and everything I had fell to the ground, I was scrambling to fit it all in my bag and I was just upset about the entire day, so as a pick-me-up I went to MAC in Fenwick's and got this.  It's a beautiful brownish-purpley-pink everyday color, it could definitely be a nude for people with darker skin tones, but on me it's a lovely color for day-time in the Winter!

I also stopped at L'Occitane, Selfridges and Boots and I pick up a few things.

L'Occitane Mousse Nettoyante Lumière Immortelle Brightening Cleansing Foam - £18.50
Once again, I was talked into this, but I'm actually starting to run low on cleanser, so I figured, why not?

Aesop Parsley Seed Mask - £27
I've been wanting this ever since Essiebutton mentioned it on Twitter so many months ago.  So once I saw that they had a new Aesop consession in Selfridges I had to pick it up.  I tested it out and it felt amazing on my hand, so I'm expecting great things!

Soap & Glory The Breakfast Scrub - £9.50
I heard about this a few weeks ago on Youtube and I went to my local Douglas to pick it up, but they didn't have it!  So, when I saw this in Boots I had to grab it.  It smells just like maple syrup! *nom*

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer 1 Fair - £4.09
I can't go to the UK and not pick this up, it's so great and I need to start stockpiling this as next fall I'll be back in the States and I won't be able to get it!

L'Occitane Rose 4 Reines Velvet Hand Cream - £8
I got this along with the cleanser at the L'Occitane store on Regent Street.  It smells amazing! I have a sample of the L'Occitane Shea Hand Cream and I love it, so I thought it was time for me to pick up the full-size!

Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Milk Body Butter - £26
I am warning you right now to stay away from the Laura Mercier Bath & Body Section of Space NK, because if you don't you will definitely want it all!  It smells so good!  I tested this on my hand and I could still smell it about six hours later!

Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Milk Hand Crème - £13
After I bought the Body Butter from Space NK, I actually had dreams about the smell of this stuff, so I ran back the next day and picked up this bad boy (despite the fact that I have about 4 different hand creams now).

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler - £20
I've never understood Eyelash curlers, but I knew this was a cult product, so I've been wanting to try it for months.  I was definitely a splurge, but it comes with a refill pad, as well!  I used it this morning and I now understand how useful eyelash curlers are, my eyelashes have never looked so long and beautiful before now!

TRESemmé Heat Defence - £4.50(ish)
I picked this up at Boots because they don't sell TRESemmé products anywhere in my city in Germany, and I was in need of a good heat protectant!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser Starter Kit - £14.25
This has been raved about on Youtube for ages, so when I saw the Liz Earle products at John Lewis on Oxford Street, I had to pick it up! Like I said, I'm running low on Cleanser, so I figured I could use this at night and the L'Occitane one in the morning once I completely run out.

LUSH FUN - Red - £5
This is a brand new product that was released on Saturday in the Covent Garden LUSH (it was previously released in Japan), which was the day I went to LUSH, so all of the employees were dressed up crazily and everyone was playing with this stuff.  It's a multi-use product (body soap, hair wash, it can even be used to hand-wash your clothes!), that has the consistency of play-dough.  This one is meant to smell like mandarin, and it made everything in my suitcase smell of sweet oranges!

LUSH FUN - Yellow - £5
I picked this one up for my sister, as I'm sure it won't be released in the States for a bit (and even if they do release it before Christmas, our closest LUSH is 4 hours away, so I'm sure she won't get it).  This one smells like vanilla and is perfect for the winter-time :)

LUSH Stepping Stone - £2.95
My feet have been killing me recently, and have been looking a bit rough, so I figured I'd pick this up (sorry if anyone's offended by feet!)

LUSH Soft Coeur - £4.95
This smells just like chocolate and even has bits of chocolate in it! It's a massage bar, and will be great for when I want to relax!

Alright, this is the last of it!

Escentric Molecules Escentric 01 30ml - £38
I heard Viviannadoesmakeup talk about the Molecules 01 version of this in one of her videos, so I figured I would try it when I went to Liberty.  I smelled both of them and I decided to grab this one as I don't have a night-time perfume, and I thought this would work perfectly for that.  I do still really want the Molecules 01 version, so I might pick that up in December :P

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle 35ml EDP - £46
I went to the Chanel Beauty Pop-Up Shop in Covent Garden and I had to get something there!  I got a sample of this a few weeks back and I used up the entire thing, it smells so beautiful and sophisticated! This was even on my Fall/Autumn Makeup/Skincare Wishlist!

Burberry Body Rose Gold 85ml EDP - £60
I picked this up at the Duty Free Shop in Heathrow.  I smelled it and I went for it, as it was €15 cheaper than buying it in Germany (not to mention the €15 shipping fee that burberry.de charges!), and seeing as it's limited edition! It smells like a warm woody-floral scent, I guess.  I'm pretty crap at describing scents, so forgive me.

Well, that is it for the longest haul in the world.  I didn't buy many clothes (a coat and a skirt to be exact) and I ate cheap and stayed in a hostel room with 11 other people, so I decided to splurge on beauty products (I'm really trying to justify this to myself)!

All the same, I hope you guys enjoyed this.  If you guys have any recent hauls on your blogs/Youtube channels, please send me the links, because I really love reading about/watching Hauls!  They're probably my favorites :)

    1. Burberry is so dangerous, though! It's always the most amazing quality, so I want it all, and I can't enforce any self control when around Burberry products! Thankfully, I don't have anywhere to buy it near me otherwise I'd be totally broke!
